CDMRP Traumatic Brain Injury and Psychological Health Research Program: Health Services Research Award

The vision of this program is to optimize psychological health and reduce or eliminate the effects of TBI and traumatic stress. The program seeks to fund research to understand, prevent, and treat TBI and psychological health conditions that accelerates solutions to improve the health, well-being, and healthcare of Service Members, Veterans, military beneficiaries, and the American public.

The Health Services Research Award intends to bridge the gap between research, practice, and policy by building a knowledge base on how interventions, clinical practices/guidelines, tools, and policies can be deployed to targeted populations at the appropriate time at the point of need. Cooperation with DoD or VA staff and facilities is strongly encouraged. 

The program offers an early career track.

It is expected that four (4) awards will be granted this year. 

Funding: $1,500,000 total 

Duration:  4 years
