CDMRP Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Therapeutic Development Award

The Therapeutic Development Award supports a wide range of development activities ranging from validation of therapeutic leads to FDA New Drug (IND) submission. The proposed studies are expected to be empirical in nature and product-driven. Applications supported by this award must begin with lead compounds in hand. 

Applications supported by this award must begin with lead compounds in hand and must include proof-of-concept efficacy data in at least one preclinical model system of ALS, including whole animal and cellular model systems

It is expected that 4 grants will be awarded this year. 

Funding: $1,500,000 total
