2024 MPN Challenge together with Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

The primary goal of the MPN Research Foundation’s research strategy is to understand and control the progression of the MPNs from chronic to life-threatening stages. 

In order to do that, we believe our focus should be the elimination of the mutant stem cells which promote these diseases.  

2024 focus areas: 

1. Harnessing the immune system to improve long-term outcomes for patients with an MPN
2. Strategies directed at earlier intervention and/or prevention of MPNs
3. Quality of Life (QoL)
4. Spatial analysis of the bone marrow microenvironment towards personalized therapeutics development
5. Research using relevant human disease models
6. Biology of progression of chronic phase MPN to AML
7. Optimize patient therapy decisions
