MRA 2023-2024 Special Opportunity: Acral Melanoma- Pilot Award on Advancing translational Research for Acral Melanoma

Acral melanoma is a rare and difficult-to-treat form of melanoma that arises on the palms, soles, or beneath the nails. With this Special Opportunity, MRA intends to grant awards for conducting translational research that will lead to more effective treatment of acral melanomas.

Pilot Awards support senior investigators who propose potentially transformative ideas that do not have extensive preliminary data but articulate a clear hypothesis and translational goals.

Funding: $50,000 per year
