CDMRP Epilepsy Research Program: Research Partnership Award

The intent of the ERP is to solicit research to understand the magnitude and underlying mechanisms of post traumatic epilepsy, especially in Service members and Veterans while benefitting the civilian community.

This Award aims to create an avenue for collaborative research partnerships between/among investigators. A minimum of 2 PI's is required. Applicants must demonstrate the study team’s experience in Post Traumatic Epilepsy.

2026 focus areas are: 

• Markers and Mechanisms of PTE
• Epidemiological Characterization of PTE
• Longitudinal Studies of PTE Progression
• Innovative Research Tools and Technologies

It is expected that 1 award will be granted this year. 

An investigator may be named on only one FY26 ERP Research Partnership Award application as a PI
