CDMRP Epilepsy Research Program: Idea Development Award

The intent of the FY26 ERP IDA is to solicit novel, innovative research that has the potential to increase understanding of PTE (Post- Traumatic Epilepsy) and associated comorbidities to improve quality of life, especially in Service Members, Veterans and/or their care partners. Preliminary data should be presented. 

Focus Areas:

• Markers and Mechanisms of PTE
• Epidemiological Characterization of PTE
• Longitudinal Studies of PTE Progression
• Innovative Research Tools and Technologies

It is expected that 2 awards will be granted.

An investigator may be named on only one FY26 ERP IDA application as a PI.

Funding: $1,000,000 total.
Duration: 3 years
