JTC TRANSCAN-4: Translational Research on Cancer Metabolism: Multidisciplinary Approaches for Diagnosis and Treatment

This call of TRANSCAN focuses on: "Translational Research on Cancer Metabolism: Multidisciplinary Approaches for Diagnosis and Treatment"

The call has two specific aims, and proposals must cover at least one of the specific topics listed below:

Aim 1: Enabling better cancer diagnostics and monitoring through metabolic biomarkers

Aim 2: Intercepting metabolic vulnerabilities to improve precision medicine

Each research consortium must involve a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of six (6) partners, eligible for funding, coming from at least 3 different countries whose funders participate in the call.

Israeli applicants should contact Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Health (Dr. Irit Alon/ Dr. Liron Even- Faitelson) to review and approve submission prior to application. 

Pls. note that in most cases applicants may hold only one MOH grant at any given time. Please check eligibility.

Funding: €140,000 total for Israeli partner + €20,000 for coordination
Duration: 3 years
