Research Grant Awards Related to Tick-Borne Diseases

GLA is introducing two distinct funding mechanisms for 2026:

1. Research Grant
   Designed to support impactful and innovative research initiatives that address critical gaps related to the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of Lyme and associated diseases. Applicants may request up to $275,000 in direct costs for up to two years, with no more than $150,000 in direct costs any one year.
    
2. Early Career Research Grant
   Designed to support investigators at the beginning of their independent research careers, with the goal of advancing and retaining new leaders in the field of Lyme and other tick-borne disease research. Applicants may request up to $90,000 in total direct costs for one to two years.
