M-ERA.NET CALL 2026

M-ERA.NET aims to fund ambitious transnational RTD projects addressing materials research and innovation including materials for low carbon energy technologies and related production technologies. M-ERA.NET aims to strengthen the contribution of materials R&D to energy-related applications where applicable.

The Call 2026 includes the following thematic areas:

1. Materials for energy storage and distribution systems
2. Materials for energy conversion
3. Innovative surfaces, coatings and interfaces
4. Innovative functional materials with defined architectures
5. Materials addressing environmental challenges
6. Next generation materials for electronics

MOST is planning to award 2 grants for this call. 

Funding: €100,000 total for Israeli partner
Duration: 3 years

Research Authority Deadline: 7.5.26 (submission via MOST portal "Science Forefront")

Pre proposal (required) due date: 12.5.26

Full proposal due date: 18.11.26
