OTCF research grants

The objective of OTCF grants is to encourage orthopedic trauma surgeons and basic scientists by providing seed funding for research in the field of orthopedic trauma surgery. The subjects targeted for 2025 applications are: 

· New Fixation Technologies.

• Pre-operative surgical planning and indication setting
• Fixation that enable improved post-operative patient mobilization and fracture stabilization
• Biomaterials, implant coatings, and surface modification to diminish fracture-related infections.
• Patient outcomes and cost effectiveness with different innovative solutions for fracture fixation.

Funding: $50,000
Duration: 2 years

Please note: a trauma or orthopedic surgeon must serve as either the principal or coprincipal investigator.
