ARIA: Sustained Viral Resilience

ARIA’s “Sustained Viral Resilience” programme seeks to create a new class of medicines that provide durable, broad-spectrum protection against respiratory viruses by engineering the innate immune system. 

TA1, Explorers: providing POC that sustained innate immunoprophylactics (SIIPs) are possible

TA2, Accelerators: developing tools, platforms, models, standards, or datasets in order to accelerate new SIIP candidates to POC.

TA3, Translators: Facilitating clinical translation

It is expected that 5 grants will be awarded. 

Funding: TA1 £5M-£8M total; TA2 3M-4.5M total;  TA3 1M-2M total 

Duration: TA1 3-4.5 years; TA2 2-4 years; TA3 1-2 years
