תיאור

The aim of the vision research program is to transform vision trauma care for our armed forces and the nation.

FTTSA is a collaborative effort that leverages the strengths of investigators specializing in different fields to address an overarching scientific challenge or question. Applications should include 3-5 distinct research projects that together form a concerted and synergistic effort to address the overarching challenge.

 
  • • Understand and treat eye injury or visual dysfunction as related to military exposure
  • Diagnose, stabilize, and treat eye injuries in austere environments and prolonged care settings
  • Restore visual function after military exposure-related vision loss or severe visual impairment

 

 

It is expected that one (1) award will be granted. 

 

 

Funding: $4,000,000 total 

Duration: 4 years

 

 

Research Authority due date: 4.7.24
