CDMRP Peer Reviewed Cancer Research Program: Career Development Award

PRCRP will foster the next generation of cancer research by providing new opportunities to successfully pursue high-impact research for the prevention, detection, and treatment of cancer. 

Applicants must be in a tenure tack position within 7 years after completion of their terminal degree by the time of the application deadline.

Applications must address at least one of the Topic Areas listed below:
 

Applications must also address at least one of the FY24 PRCRP Military Relevance Focus Areas:

• Environmental/exposure risk factors associated with cancer
• Mission Readiness and Gaps in Cancer Research

Investigators are strongly encouraged to collaborate, integrate, and/or align their research projects with Department of Defense (DoD) and/or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) research laboratories and programs.​

It is expected that twelve (12) Fellow awards will be granted.
