CDMRP Lung Cancer Research Program Translational Research Award

The Translational Research Award supports translational research that will develop promising ideas in lung cancer into clinical applications. Translational research may be defined as an integration of basic science and clinical observations. 
Partnerships with investigators at Military Treatment Facilities is strongly encouraged.

Level 1: Advanced preclinical studies etc. 

Level 2: Pilot clinical trials

The Relevance to Military Health component is critical in this program. Please reviewed carefully the requirement in the program description (attached below) and follow accordingly. 

It is expected that 5 awards will be granted this year. 

Funding: Level 1 $900,000 total; Level 2 $1,200,000 total 
Duration: Level 1 3 years; Level 2 4 years
