Bioimaging Technology Development Awards

This award will fund teams of technology developers and users to create novel bioimaging tools at the cell-tissue scale. Successful teams will develop technologies that answer ambitious research questions or that overcome barriers to bioimaging work in low-resource settings.

PI must be based at a UK Institution. Members can be from the same university department or a number of organisations (anywhere in the world). For the initial stage 3-5 team members may participate in one application. 

Funding: for the initial phase £500,000 ; for the scale up- no fixed limit yet 

Duration: 8 years total. 18 months for initial stage. 6.5 years for scale up.
