Research Grants: Idea Awards and Development Awards

The MSF is particularly interested in funding research projects that have the potential to accomplish one or more of the following:

1. Basic Research to Determine Cellular Mechanisms
2. Establishing and Characterizing Human Cell Lines
3. Identifying and Testing Potential Therapies

The foundation offers two tracks: 

Idea awards
Funding: $50,000 total 
Duration: 1-2 years

Discovery awards
Funding: $100,000 total 
Duration: 2-3 years
