MRA 2023-2024 Special Opportunity: Acral Melanoma- Young Investigator Award on Advancing translational Research for Acral Melanoma

Acral melanoma is a rare and difficult-to-treat form of melanoma that arises on the palms, soles, or beneath the nails. With this Special Opportunity, MRA intends to grant awards for conducting translational research that will lead to more effective treatment of acral melanomas.

YIA  aim to attract early career scientists with novel ideas into the field of melanoma. Investigators within 5 years of their first academic faculty appointment at the time of application may apply. Previous winners of an MRA Young Investigator Award cannot apply.
Young Investigator applicants must designate a Mentor in the same institution they are working in.

Funding: $85,000 per year
Duration:3 years
