CPMRP defines chronic as pain that occurs on at least half the days for 6 months or more, and which can be a result of  various causes. CDMRP encourages alignment of research projects with the Federal Pain Research Strategy for maximizing the impact of chronic pain research outcomes.

 
The aim of this grant A is to support studies focused on improving clinical outcomes through late-stage translational efforts that will accelerate the movement of evidencebased ideas in chronic pain management into clinical applications, such as health care products, technologies, clinical practice guidelines, and/or models of care.
 
FY23 focus areas are: 
 
• Implementation science (for evidence-based, efficacious interventions to manage or prevent chronic pain)
• Comparative effectiveness (for evidence-based, efficacious interventions to manage or prevent chronic pain)
• Observational studies related to chronic pain

 

 

It is expected that one (1) awards will be granted. 

 

 

Funding: $1.400,000 total 

Duration: 4 years
