Informatics Tools for the Pangenome (U01)

This  grant seeks applications for the development of informatics tools to facilitate uptake and scientific use of the human pangenome reference being developed and maintained by the NHGRI Human Genome Reference Program (HGRP).  Emphasis will be on development of tools to advance compelling use cases that are relevant to different broad sectors of the genomics community. These tools will use pangenome datasets and build on systems developed by the Human Pangenome Coordinating Center (see below), which will support general computational infrastructure for pangenome use. 

Funding: $400,000 per year
