Research and Travel Funding 2023

NASS strives to be a leading force in promoting and supporting spine research. Major areas of interest include:

• Research on the etiology and mechanisms of spinal pain.
• Research related to the pathobiology and/or treatment of disorders involving the spine and soft tissue (including the intervertebral disc).
x Spinal deformity
x Spinal cord injury (both traumatic and nontraumatic, including degenerative cervical myelopathy)
x Oncologic conditions of the spine and spinal cord
x Congenital disorders of the spine

 

The following types of funding are available: 

 

 

Funding: $40,000 per year (for travel: $7,000)

Duration: 2 years
