CDMRP Toxic Exposures Research Program: Translational Research Award

The vision of the TERP is to minimize and mitigate the impact of military-relevant toxic exposures and improve the quality of life of those affected. 2022 topic areas include: 

TOPIC AREA 1: Neurotoxin Exposure

TOPIC AREA 2: Gulf War Illness (GWI) and Its Treatment

TOPIC AREA 3: Airborne Hazards and Burn Pits

TOPIC AREA 4: Other Military Service-Related Toxic Exposures

Applications must address at least one of the FY22 TERP Topic Areas.

The translational award is intended to support translational research that will accelerate the movement of promising ideas in toxic exposure research into clinical applications including health care products, interventions, technologies, and/or clinical practice guidelines.

It is expected that 5 awards will be granted. 

Funding: $800,000 total ($1,600,000 with partner) 

Duration: 3 years
