CDMRP Parkinson’s Research Program: Early Investigator Research Award

The PRP EIRA supports research opportunities for investigators in the early stages of their careers, under the guidance of one or two designated Mentor(s).

Applicants MUST address at least one of the following FY22 PRP Focus Areas:
• Biological mechanisms or biomarkers of non-motor symptoms that could lead to the development of treatments for PD. 
• Biological mechanisms or biomarkers associated with non-pharmacological interventions for non-motor symptoms of PD.

The investigator can be a postdoctoral fellow or have a more advanced degree. 

It is expected that five (5) awards will be granted. 

Funding: $400,000 total 

Duration: 2 years
