MRC/AHRC/ESRC Adolescence, Mental Health and the Developing Mind: Call for Research Programmes

Medical Research Council, the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the Economic and Social Research Council invite outline proposals for innovative and ambitious interdisciplinary programmes of original empirical research in adolescence (ages 10-24), mental health and the developing mind.

This call for interdisciplinary programmes of research aims to support novel and innovative research. This includes strengthening intersections between relevant disciplines that do not routinely engage with each other, as well as building cross-disciplinary and cross-sector capacity and skills. 

Please note: 

*) PI must be from an institution in the UK.

**) International Co-Investigators are eligible for inclusion where they provide expertise that is not available in the UK

***) Focus of proposal should be improving adolescent wellbeing and mental health in the UK

Funding: £4,000,000 total
