NSF-BSF joint program in Psychology: Perception, Action, and Cognition

The NSF-BSF joint funding programs in Psychology with the Directorate of Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences (SBE) offers resaerch grants in Preception, Action and Cognition.

Central research topics for consideration include vision, audition, haptics, attention, memory, reasoning, written and spoken discourse, and motor control. The program encompasses a wide range of theoretical perspectives, such as symbolic computation, connectionism, ecological, nonlinear dynamics, and complex systems, and a variety of methodologies including both experimental studies and modeling.. Funding: $80,000 per year for Israeli partner. US partner to receive funding from NSF
Duration: 3 years

Israeli and US PIs to BSF due date: 4 August 2016
