2025 CHF Research Grants

CHF is a leading charitable organization funding the most promising congenital heart defect (CHD) research. It's aim is to support research toward discovering the cause and improving the methods for diagnosing, treating, and preventing congenital heart defects. This year CHF offers three funding schemes: 

1. Independent Research Awards
2. Izak Szymczak Research Fund
3. Cortney Gives BAK Foundation RFA (Fontan patients)

Funding: $150,000 per year for Independent Awards, $100,000 per year for Szymczak  and Courtney awards
Duration: 2 years
