Racial Equity Special Research Grants

The Racial Equity Special Research Grants supports education research projects that will contribute to understanding and disrupting racial inequality in education and work to reimagine generative possibilities to advance educational equity.

The 2025 grants will focus on

(1) youth and educator mental health that explores possibilities that promote resilience, center healing, and foster well-being;

(2) current political challenges in Pre-K-12 and higher education around diversity, equity, and inclusion

(3) youth civic education and engagement across learning contexts.

Also, Racial Equity grants specifically focused on AI and racial equity.

Funding: $75,000 total 

Duration: 1-5 years
