| תיאור | This grant is intended to support high-impact and/or new/emerging clinical research that may or may not be ready for a full-scale randomized controlled clinical trial. Funding from this award mechanism must support clinical research but clinical trials are not allowed.
Focus Area for 2023 are:
1. Retention Strategies
2. Volumetric Muscle Loss
3. Composite Tissue Regeneration
4. Osseointegration
5. Prostheses and Orthoses
Principal Investigators (PIs) are encouraged to integrate and/or align their research projects with DoD and/or VA research laboratories and programs. Collaboration with the DoD or VA is also encouraged. It is expected that four (4) awards will be granted.
Funding: $1,500,000 total Duration: 4 years
