NSF-BSF Program: Geospace Environment Modeling (GEM)

The goal of the GEM program is to make accurate predictions of the geospace environment by developing physical understanding of the large-scale organization and dynamics through observations, theory, and increasingly realistic models. 

Funding:  $80,000/ year for Israeli partner for experimental projects. $55,000/ year for theoretical or computer based projects
Duration: 3-5 years (NSF consideration)

US PI to NSF due date: 20.9.22
Israeli and US PIs to BSF due date: 27.9.22

Before starting to work on an application to this programs, the US PI must contact the NSF to make sure they are willing to receive joint NSF-BSF applications.
