The Convergent Science Cancer Consortium Development aims to support  a diverse coalition of clinicians and scientists who have diverse experience in different disciplines and different cancers. PI and at least two additional co-PI's must be from different sites. One applicant must have experience in convergent science theory.

The proposal must address at least three of  the FY22 RCRP topic Areas listed below:

  • Bladder cancer
  • Blood cancers
  • Brain cancer
  • Colorectal cancer
  • Endometrial cancer
  • Esophageal cancer
  • Germ cell caners
  • Head and neck cancers
  • Liver cancer
  • Lymphoma
  • Mesothelioma
  • Metastatic cancers
  • Myeloma
  • Neuroblastoma
  • Pediatric, adolescent, and young adult cancers
  • Pediatric brain tumors
  • Stomach cancer
  • Sarcoma
  • Thyroid cancer
  • New for FY22: Von Hippel-Lindau syndrome malignancies

 

 

Applications must also address at least one of the FY22 PRCRP Military Relevance Focus Areas:

• Environmental/exposure risk factors associated with cancer
• Gaps in cancer research that may affect mission readiness

 

It is expected that three awards will be granted. 

 

 

Funding: $2,500,000 total
Duration: 2 years
