Regular Program Research Grants and Special Initiatives

The Russell Sage Foundation sponsors rigorous social scientific research as a means of diagnosing social problems and improving social policies. The Foundation is dedicated to strengthening the methods, data, and theoretical core of the social sciences. The Foundation's awards are restricted to support for social science research within the following program areas:

• Behavioral Economics
• Decision Making & Human Behavior in Context
• Future of Work
• Social, Political and Economic Inequality.
• Research on the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting recession in the U.S.
• Research focused on systemic racial inequality and/or the recent mass protests in the U.S.

Research must  have clear focus and relevance to the USA.

Duration: 2 years
