JPND: Understanding the mechanisms of non- pharmacological interventions

JPND launches this joint transnational call with the aim of improving the understanding of the mechanisms and biological substrates that underlie non-pharmacological interventions in order to tailor a holistic personalized treatment approach.

Diseases included in this call are: 

• Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias
• Parkinson’s disease and PD‐related disorders
• Prion diseases
• Motor neuron diseases
• Huntington’s disease
• Spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA)
• Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA)

Teams should include at least 3 countries and 3 to 6 participants.

Israeli applicants should contact Chief Scientist of the Minsitry of Health (Dr. Irit Alon) to review and approve submission prior to application. 

Pls. note that in most cases applicants may hold only one MOH grant at any given time. Please check eligibility.

Funding: €140,000 total for Israeli partner + €20,000 for coordination
