BIRAX Ageing Call for Proposals: UK-Israel Research Partnership

The Second Call for Proposals for the BIRAX Ageing will fund ground-breaking research that will focus on the effect of ageing on human health: preventive, disease modifiying and regenerative medicine approaches to medical conditions and the ageing process.

Specific interest areas for this call are: 

1. Ageing and Immunity
2. Age-related Multimorbidity
3. Cardiovascular Disease
4. Ageing impacts’ on the progression of Diabetes (T1 and T2)
5. Ageing Well with Diabetes
6. Neurodegenerative Disease
7. Age-related Frailty and Other Geriatric Syndromes

Funding: £400,000 total
Duration: 3 years
