CDMRP Reconstructive Transplant Research Program: Advanced Technology Development Award

The RTR program challenges the scientific community to design innovative research that will foster new directions for, and address neglected issues in, the field of reconstructive transplantation (RT), specifically vascularized composite allotransplantation (VCA)-focused research.

The Advanced Technology Development Award is intended to support work that address one or more of the Focus Areas:

• Advance existing ex vivo tissue preservation strategies to extend the timeline between procurement and transplantation
• Develop reliable non-invasive prognostic/diagnostic methods or tools for monitoring VCA graft rejection

It is expected that 4 awards will be granted. 

Funding: $1,000,000 ($1.5M for more than one partner)
