The 3rd EJP RD Joint Transnational Call for Rare Diseases Research Project (JTC 2021): Social sciences and Humanities Research to improve health care implementation and everyday life of people living with a rare disease

תיאור

The aim of this call is to support multinational, innovative, and multidisciplinary humanities and social sciences research projects to improve healthcare implementation and everyday life of people living with a rare disease.
Consortia have to include both SSH and clinical expertise in their consortium. Moreover, to ensure that the needs and priorities of rare disease patients are adequately addressed, they or their representatives must be appropriately involved in all projects.

2021 topics: 

  1. Economic impact of rare diseases
  2. Studies addressing the impact/burden of the delay in diagnosis and of the lack of therapeutic intervention
  3. Development and enhancement of health outcomes research methods in rare diseases

 

A consortium of 3-6 partners (8 in some cases- see attached document for details) from a minimum of 3 countries is required. 

 

Funding: €100,000 total for the Israeli partner

Duration: 3 years

 

 

Research Authority due date: 9.2.21

Pre proposal (required) due date: 16.2.21

Full proposal due date: 15.6.21

 

 

Israeli applicants should contact Chief Scientist to review and approve submission prior to application. 

Pls. note that in most cases applicants may hold only one MOH grant at any given time. Please check eligibility.
