The purpose of The CACNA1A Foundation, Inc. is to support research that will ultimately find treatments and a cure for CACNA1A.
CACNA1A Foundation is particularly interested in funding projects that:
  •  Identify novel therapies that may significantly improve the quality of life of individuals with CACNA1A;
  • Investigate an aspect of CACNA1A that is less well researched or is a promising new area for research and could make a significant contribution to the understanding of CACNA1A or its treatment;
  • Produce preliminary data that would facilitate broader or more substantial long- term funding from the NIH, research centers, foundations, or pharmaceutical companies in the future;
  • Discover a cure for CACNA1A.
