Research on human prion diseases

Grants will be awarded for human prion disease research:

• Treatment Studies: Projects focused on developing a treatment. Specific attention will be given to clinical and translational research and to studies identifying treatment targets and/or biomarkers.
• Other Studies: Research that impacts any form of human prion disease.

Funding: $50,000 per year

Duration: 1-2 years
