Novel Synthetic Nucleic Acid Technology Development (R21)

This grant solicits applications to develop novel technologies that will enable substantive (no less than one order of magnitude) improvement in synthetic nucleic acids. The goal is to improve the quality, capabilities and efficiency of nucleic acid synthesis and synthetic constructs at reasonable and decreased costs. 

 High-risk/high-payoff applications are appropriate to achieve the goals of this grant. 

Funding: $400,000 total
