Standardizing Methods with QA/QC Standards for Investigating the Occurrence and Removal of Antibiotic Resistant Bacteria/Antibiotic Resistance Genes (ARB/ARGs) in Surface Water, Wastewater, and Recycled Water (RFP 5052)

This project addresses the need for standardized monitoring methods, which is the first step to work towards the other recommendations. Well-established methods will make it possible to reliably measure the removal of ARB/ARGs through the treatment process, and the use of these methods in future studies will provide an understanding of potential risk.
