CDMRP Chronic Pain Management Research Program: Translational Research Award

CPMRP encourages alignment of research projects with the Federal Pain Research Strategy for maximizing the impact of chronic pain research outcomes. Applications must address the FY19 CPMRP Translational Research Award (TRA) Focus Areas:
• Implementation Science (for evidence-based, efficacious interventions to manage chronic pain)
o Unique barriers in military populations and environments, including at-risk sub-populations
o Self-management and service-of-care models
• Comparative Effectiveness
o Multimodal and combination therapies
o Pain and its co-morbidities
o Incorporation of a biopsychosocial model of assessment that includes pain interference in emotional and physical functioning
