Impact of Vaccines on Antimicrobial Resistance

This scheme supports researchers investigating the impact of vaccines on antibiotic use and/or antimicrobial resistance.  Applications must aim to analyse data on AMR or antibiotic use in the context of a human vaccine study.

Either analysis of  existing AMR data related to vaccine use or collection and analysis of new AMR data from an ongoing or planned vaccine study that has already been funded by Wellcome or elsewhere.

Applications can include 1-7 partners from all over the world. 

Funding: Small awards £250,000 total; Large awards £750,000 total 

Duration: No fixed limit.
