The Michael J. Fox Foundation works tirelessly to accelerate promising research toward breakthroughs for Parkinson's patients. The Targeted Funding opportunities support high-risk/high-reward discovery work. Applications are invited in: 

  • Alpha-synuclein Biology and Therapies
  • GBA Biology and Therapies
  • Biomarkers of Protein Handling/Autophagy, Exosomes and Lipids
  • Non-Pharmacological Interventions for Gait and Balance Disturbances

 

Funding: Biological Pathways & Novel Targets $150,000 total; Therapeutic Development $500,000 total 

Duration: 1-2 years
