CDMRP: Parkinson’s Research Program Early Investigator Research Award

The PRP challenges the scientific community to develop impactful research that will advance the understanding of, and ultimately end, Parkinson’s disease. 

Investigators must address at least one of the following Focus Areas:
• Mechanisms of neuroplasticity in the Parkinson’s disease brain.
• Studies to identify gene-environment interactions in Parkinson’s disease cohorts.
• Pathophysiological implications of tau protein in Parkinson’s disease.

The investigator must be a postdoctoral fellow within three years of advanced degree or residency training (or equivalent) as of the application deadline.

Funding: $321,000 total
