This BAA is intended to solicit extramural research and development ideas for Special Operations Forces (SOF). 

The following Research Areas of Interest (RAIs) are included in this BAA: 

  1. Medical Simulation and Training Technologies
  2. Damage Control Resuscitation: Treatment strategies, Analgesia, Blood, Field Surgery
  3. Prolonged Field Care (PFC): Devices, Telehealth
  4. Portable Lab Assays and Diagnostics
  5. Force Health Protection and Environmental Medicine: CBRNE, Occupational
  6. Canine Medicine
  7. Human Operational Performance: Sleep, Physio and Mental Performance, Diagnostics, Nutrition

Funding: $700,000 total 

Duration: 2 years 

 

Reserach Authority due date: 10 days prior to pre application 

Pre application due dates: 28.7.17, 3.11.17, 14.4.18

Full proposal due date: 30 days after invitation to submit
