Foundational Integrity Research: Misinformation and Polarization RFP

Facebook is offering awards to researchers interested in exploring the societal issues of misinformation and polarization related to social communication technologies. 

Priority research areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Health misinformation
2. Quantifying harms of misinformation
3. Information processing of sensational, hateful, divisive, or provocative problematic content
4. Affective polarization
5. Dangerous speech, conflict, and violence
6. Misinformation, multimedia, and formats
7. News, trust, and information quality
8. Cross-platform information ecosystem understanding
9. Digital literacy, demographics, and misinformation

Funding: $50,000- $150,000 total
