Health Impact of Sports Wagering

NCRG invites grant applications on the health impact of sports wagering. Topics may include but are not limited to the following:
• Prevalence of sports betting and related problems in the adult general population and subpopulations such as children and young adults
• Identification of risk factors for gambling disorder among sports bettors
• The impact of advertising and inducements on sports bettors
• The efficacy of responsible gambling programs and policies targeted at sports bettors

For the purpose of this RFA, sports betting encompasses bets on game or sports outcomes and scores, as well as fantasy sports and daily fantasy sports contests.

Funding: $350,000 total 

Duration: 3 years
