OTCF research grants

The objective of OTCF grants is to encourage orthopedic trauma surgeons and basic scientists by providing seed funding for research in the field of orthopedic trauma surgery. The subjects targeted for 2020 applications are: 

• Clinical management of acute fracture and delayed union/non-unions: Mechanical and biological factors
• Monitoring of fracture healing: Smart implants, biomarkers, and innovative technologies
• Stimulation of fracture repair: mechanical influences and implant technologies

Funding: $50,000
Duration: 2 years

Please note: a trauma or orthopedic surgeon must serve as either the principal or coprincipal investigator.
