The PRP Investigator-Initiated Research Award supports highly rigorous, high-impact research projects that have the potential to make an important contribution to Parkinson’s disease research and/or patient care.

Investigators must address at least one of the following Focus Areas:

• Clinical and research application of digital health technology for Parkinson’s disease monitoring including early identification
• Mechanisms of non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease from basic biology to clinical application
• Sleep biology in Parkinson’s disease
• Quantifiable gene - environment interactions and the risk of Parkinson’s disease

 

The Investigator-Initiated Research Award mechanism includes an option for up to three PIs.

 

Funding: $1,500,000 total ($2,400,000 for partnering option)

Duration: 3 years 

 

 

Research Authority due date: 2.7.19

Pre application (required) due date: 9.7.19

Full proposal due date: 24.1.19
