Office of Science: Terrestrial Ecosystem Science (TES) program

The goal of TES is to improve the representation of terrestrial ecosystem processes in Earth system models thereby improving the quality of complex Earth and environmental model projections. Applications to this FOA should take a systems approach to understand ecosystems
over the multiple temporal and spatial scales represented in models.

Science Area 2 – Role of Disturbance at the Terrestrial-Aquatic Interface

The program will support large grants and exploratory (high risk|) grants

Funding: Large grants $1,000,000  total ; Exploratory grants $300,000  total
