DARPA is soliciting research proposals for the development of a new class of atom-based systems utilizing integrated photonics and trapped atoms to enable highperformance, robust, portable clocks and gyroscopes.
Technical Area One: Development of a photonic integrated clock prototype.
Technical Area Two: Development of a trapped-atom gyroscope based on a Sagnac interferometer architecture.
Funding: no fixed limit
