WaterWorks 2017: Water JPI 2018 Joint Call Closing the Water Cycle Gap – Sustainable Management of Water Resources

Water JPI 2018 Joint Call for transnational collaborative projects on Research & Innovation to support the implementation of water policies “Closing the Water Cycle Gap – Improving Sustainable Water Resources Management”.

The following two themes are supported by the Israeli Ministry of Water and Energy:

Challenge 1) Enabling sustainable management of water resources

Sub-theme 1.1 -Promoting adaptive water management for global change.

Sub-theme 1.2 -Integrative management by implementing Natural Water Retention Measures

Sub-theme 1.3-Mitigating water stress in coastal zones

Challenge 2) Strengthening socio-economic approaches to water management

Sub-theme 2.1 -Integrating economic and social analyses into decision-making processes

Sub-theme 2.2 -The reuse of water

Sub-theme 2.3 -Connecting science to society

Sub-theme 2.4 -Promoting new governance and knowledge management approaches

A consortium of 3-6 (or 7- see call) partners from a minimum of 3 countries is required.

Funding: 500,000 NIS total for Israeli partner

Duration: 3 years

חוקרים שישתתפו בתכנית ידרשו להגיש פעם נוספת את ההצעה למשרד, דרך רשות המחקר במסגרת הקול הקורא לאקדמיה אשר יפורסם בהמשך השנה. יובהר כי הצעות שלא יאושרו ע"י המשרד מינהלית, לא ימומנו ע"י המשרד ועשויים להפסל גם במסגרת האירופאית. נכון לרגע זה קיימת אי בהירות בנוגע למועד פרסום הקול הקורא של המשרד.
